Wolfsburg boss refuses to commit to Kovac after Augsburg defeat
Pressure is mounting on Wolfsburg coach Niko Kovac after another disappointing result.
Following the defeat, which extended Wolfsburg's winless run to 11 games, sporting director Marcel Schäfer wouldn't guarantee that head coach Niko Kovac will remain in charge.
"I think it's understandable that we don't discuss personnel five minutes after a game," Schaefer told Sky Germany.
"We want to discuss the game internally first. And then we will make decisions.
"At some point we just have to deliver results. And we haven't done that in the last few weeks or today."
Wolfsburg are 14th in the Bundesliga table.
