It only seemed a question of time before Ihlas Bebou would complete a €10 million move from Hannover 96 to Borussia Mönchengladbach after 'Die Fohlen' triggered a release clause in his contract.
However, according to Bild, the 25-year-old has now opted to join Hoffenheim instead. The transfer is expected to be completed in the next couple of days.
Bebou, who recently returned following a lengthy injury spell, has played 13 games for Hannover this season with five goals and three assists to his name.
Hoffenheim have already signed two players ahead of the 2019-20 season, with Sargis Adamyan joining from SSV Jahn Regensburg and Kostantinos Stafylidis completing a move from FC Augsburg.
