Clubs with an interest in signing Hertha BSC's Niklas Stark should hurry if they want to land the centre-back this summer.

According to Kicker, the 24-year-old has a €25 million release clause which expires at the end of June.

After that point, potential suitors would have to agree on a transfer fee with Hertha to sign the centre-back whose contract runs until 2022.

When asked about Stark's future, Hertha sporting director Michael Preetz told Kicker:

"Our desire is to go into the new season with Niklas."

The 24-year-old has been linked with the likes of Bayern München, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig in the past.
