Marcel Sabitzer: 'We were strong'
Marcel Sabitzer was very satisfied with RB Leipzig's performance in their 2-0 win over Zenit on Tuesday evening.
Marcel Sabitzer thought RB Leipzig did well to open up Zenit's defence as they beat the Russian champions 2-0 in the Champions League on Tuesday.
"The team did really well. We were up against a side that sat deep but we found good ways through," Sabitzer said after the game, as quoted by the club.
"We didn't let much through at our end and we were strong throughout the match," he added.
Sabitzer, who scored the 2-0 goal against Zenit, has now netted eight times and made six assists for RB Leipzig in 16 appearances this season.
