With the summer transfer window getting closer, speculation over Angelo Stiller’s VfB Stuttgart future has intensified.

Recently, it was reported that Juventus have held talks with Stiller’s representatives over a possible summer move, but Stuttgart have yet to be contacted by the Italian giants – or any other club – regarding the midfielder, according to chairman Alexander Wehrle.

Wehrle addressed the speculation on the Sport1 Doppelpass show on Sunday.

“In all the time I’ve known Angelo Stiller, I’ve read something about him every few weeks. The fact is that no one has contacted me personally about him yet. And I have also never received anything in writing,” Wehrle said.

“He is a very, very important player for us, and we have absolutely no interest in even discussing the possibility of letting Angelo Stiller leave.”

Stiller remains under contract with Stuttgart until 2028.
