RB Leipzig sporting director Markus Krösche has admitted that Matheus Cunha 'is dealing with his situation' amid speculation that the 20-year-old could leave the club this month.

"Matheus is certainly one of the boys who hasn't played much and who is dealing with his situation," Krösche told Kicker.

Cunha, who has played 13 games for RB Leipzig this season, has been linked with Watford, Brighton & Hove Albion, Real Betis, Saint-Etienne and Nantes among others.

Under all circumstances, the 20-year-old will not be available for the start of the second half of the Bundesliga season as he's set to play for Brazil's under-23 national team between 18 January and 9 February in a qualification tournament for the 2020 Summer Olympics.
