Hannes Wolf confirms his loan includes a purchase obligation

Hannes Wolf could join Gladbach permanently from RB Leipzig if he makes a certain number of appearances in the new season.

Hannes Wolf has confirmed that Borussia Mönchengladbach are contractually obliged to turn his loan into a permanent deal if certain criteria are met.

The midfielder, who has joined Gladbach on loan from RB Leipzig, told Rheinische Post:

"Anything can always happen. But I hope that the purchase obligation will come into effect, provided everything goes well and I stay healthy."

Having already paid RB Leipzig €1.5 million to sign Wolf on loan, Gladbach will be obliged to put a further €9.5 million on the the table to tie the midfielder down to a permanent deal if he makes 15 appearances in the coming season, according to Rheinische Post.
