In this Fantasy Bundesliga article, we will not be focusing on the most obvious picks such as Erling Haaland and Robert Lewandowski.

Instead, we will highlight players with an ownership percentage below 10%, who could offer great value as differentials for Matchday 5.

Maxence Lacroix, Wolfsburg (Defender, 4.2m)
Lacroix, who has produced a solid 23 points in three games, is nailed on to start for Wolfsburg, and with a price of just 4.2m, the 20-year-old centre-back could give you a good bang for your buck. Having kept clean sheets in two out of their first four Bundesliga games this season, 'Die Wölfe' have a good run of fixtures coming up, starting with Sunday's home game against Arminia Bielefeld.

Lars Bender, Leverkusen (Defender, 9.5m)
With Santiago Arias sidelined with a long-term injury and Mitchell Weiser out of favor, Lars Bender doesn't really have any competition on the right side of defence. This means that while some of his teammates may be given a rest after featuring against Nice in the Europa League on Thursday, Bender should keep his starting spot. The 31-year-old has already racked up 31 points in three games this season and plays for a Leverkusen side with a favorable schedule.

Nordi Mukiele, RB Leipzig (Defender, 10.7m)
By far the highest-scoring defender on the game so far, 18-percent owned Angelino is surely the most obvious pick if you're looking to bring in a defender from RB Leipzig. But no matter if you already own the Spaniard or can't afford his 13.9m price tag, his teammate Nordi Mukiele is worth considering as well. The 22-year-old has picked up 28 points in his last two games and should keep him spot in the starting eleven with Amadou Haidara sidelined with coronavirus. Mukiele usually plays as a wing-back, but might be moved back to central defence following the news that Marcel Halstenberg will miss Saturday's game. This would of course make him less interesting from a fantasy perspective.

Florian Wirtz, Bayer Leverkusen (Midfielder, 6.1m)
Back in training after a short injury break, Wirtz should be on the fantasy radar for the coming matchday. While Leverkusen's Europa League clash with Nice might come too soon for him, the highly-rated 17-year-old should be fit enough to start against Augsburg on Monday. With a price tag of just 6.1m and favorable fixtures on the horizon, the attacking midfielder could offer great value for money provided he starts.

Admir Mehmedi, Wolfsburg (Midfielder, 7.2m)
Having racked up 19 points so far, Mehmedi hasn't been a particularly productive fantasy asset so far this season, but looking at Wolfsburg's favorable schedule, the 29-year-old has the potential to be a key contributor in the weeks to come. The Swiss international has proved in the past that he can be a difference-maker when he's on his game, and since he costs just 7.2m, it might be worth taking a punt on him.

Daniel Didavi, Stuttgart (Midfielder, 7.5m)
Didavi has been a quite consistent fantasy asset since the season began, picking up 35 points so far. Playing in an advanced position for Stuttgart, who face struggling FC Köln and Schalke 04 in their next two games, the 30-year-old is an intriguing pick.

Lars Stindl, Gladbach (Midfielder, 12.6m)
Predicting Gladbach's line-up to face crisis-hit Mainz on Saturday is difficult as head coach Marco Rose is likely to rest some of his key players after Wednesday's 2-2 draw with Inter in the Champions League. Unlike most of Gladbach's regular starters, club captain Lars Stindl wasn't in the line-up against Inter, so he should come back into the starting eleven for the game against Mainz. The in-form Jonas Hofmann, who costs 0.4m more than Stindl, is a tempting pick as well, but he's a rotation risk after playing almost every minute of the season.

Sasa Kalajdzic, Stuttgart (Striker, 4.8m)
Having found the net three times in four games, Kalajdzic has been one of the biggest revelations in the Bundesliga so far this season. Star striker Nicolas Gonzalez has returned from injury to increase competition for places, but Kalajdzic surely deserves to keep his starting spot for now. With Stuttgart set to face bottom sides FC Köln and Schalke 04 in their next two games, the tall striker is a very attractive option, especially considering his low price tag.

Lucas Alario, Bayer Leverkusen (Striker, 10.2m)
Deputizing for the injured Patrik Schick, Alario started and scored the winning goal against Mainz last week, picking up 11 points. With Schick still sidelined, the Argentine striker looks like a nice pick for Monday's clash with Augsburg, which should see him start once more.

Alassane Plea, Gladbach (Striker, 15.3m)
Costing 15.3m, Alassane Pléa isn't cheap, but it might be worth paying his price as Gladbach take on crisis-hit Mainz. After making his return from injury, the 27-year-old seems to be nearing full speed, and owned by just 2%, the French forward could be a great differential.
