On Tuesday, both lead striker André Silva and starting right flanker Erik Durm resumed full team training with the SGE. Head-coach Adi Hütter confirmed during a Wednesday presser that the duo were fit and available for the upcoming fixture against SV Werder Bremen, saying "nothing stands in the way of their use on Friday."

Hütter will have to do without one of his defensive stars for the upcoming encounter. Defender Evan N'dicka, who had been playing marvelously as of late, will have to sit the match out after garnering his fifth yellow card of the season on Sunday.

Hütter played his cards close to the vest when asked about replacing the Frenchman, but the likely scenario will see Makoto Hasebe move back into the three-man defensive ranks whilst Sebastian Rode or Stefan Ilsanker take the captain's place in midfield.
