Borussia Dortmund and Hertha BSC have targeted Sassuolo midfielder Manuel Locatelli, according to Sky Germany.

However, Juventus are thought to be leading the race for the 23-year-old, who has been one of the breakthrough stars of the Euros so far.

Italian newspaper La Repubblica claims Sassuolo have put a €45 million price tag on Locatelli, whose contract expires in 2023.

Locatelli came through the youth ranks at AC Milan before joining Sassuolo on loan in 2018.

Ahead of the 2019/20 season, he signed a permanent contract with Sassuolo, who paid €14 million for his services.
