Nürnberg U23 goalkeeper to train with Germany's Euro 2024 squad

Jan Reichert from the U23 team of 1. FC Nürnberg will take part in the training sessions of the German national team as an additional goalkeeper starting on Monday.
The 22-year-old will help out in training after Alexander Nübel was left out of Julian Nagelsmann's final squad for the European Championship.
Reichert made 25 appearances in the Regionalliga and one for Nürnberg's first team in the 2. Bundesliga until the 2023/24 season.
"We would like to thank sporting director Joti Chatzialexiou and 1. FC Nürnberg for their great and uncomplicated support," said Germany goalkeeping coach Andreas Konenberg.
After Saturday's victory over Greece in the final warm-up friendly before the start of the home European Championship on Monday, Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann's European Championship squad will return to Herzogenaurach.
A public training session in front of the fans is planned for the afternoon.
