FC Augsburg and Yusuf Kabadayi are parting ways, at least momentarily, after agreeing to join Gaziantep FK on loan for the season.

Furthermore, the Turkish first division club has also secured a purchase option for the versatile attacker who was born in Munich.

Kabadayi only moved to Augsburg from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2024 after three impressive seasons with Bayern's U23 side.

Last season, the 21-year-old made just six appearances under former head coach Jess Thorup where he scored one goal.

Even under new FCA coach Sandro Wagner, the former German U20 international didn't have any prospects of making the first XI.

Should the Süper Lig side refrain from purchasing the talent after his loan spell, his contract with Augsburg runs until 2028.
