Official: FC St. Pauli's Saliakas rejoins Olympiacos

The Greek full-back leaves the Hanseatic club behind having scored 9 goals and produced 12 assists in 120 appearances.

Manolis Saliakas will not be assisting FC St. Pauli in their bid to make an instant return to the Bundesliga next season.

Instead, the 29-year-old is returning to his native Greece and boyhood club, Olympiacos Piraeus who confirmed the signing today.

The four-time Greek international full-back previously played for Olympiacos for six years between 2013 and 2019.

Reportedly, the Greek club will pay a transfer fee of around €1.5million in total to the Hamburg-based club.

Saliakas joined St. Pauli from PAS Giannina on a free transfer in the summer of 2022 and made a total of 120 competitive appearances.
