Hugo Ekitiké could be on his way to the Premier League in summer, according to reports from Sky Switzerland.

The Frenchman, who was signed permanently by Eintracht Frankfurt for €16.5million from PSG in summer, has caught the eye of Newcastle United.

With the Magpies current striker and former BVB player Alexander Isak linked with moves to the likes of Liverpool, Ekitiké could be his replacement.

Ekitiké, who has 18 goals and 6 assists in 36 appearances across all competitions, is under contract at Frankfurt until 2029.

As a result, the French marksman could fetch up to €80million for the Hessen club if he were to be sold.

It is believed that Arsenal are also keeping tabs on the 22-year-old leading the line in Dino Toppmöller’s side.
