Premier League duo show interest in Amiri

Fulham and Crystal Palace are reportedly showing interest in Mainz midfielder Nadiem Amiri.

Nadiem Amiri is being linked with a move away from Mainz following an impressive campaign with Die Nullfünfer.

According to Sky Germany, both Fulham and Crystal Palace are tracking the central midfielder, with Mainz understood to be demanding a fee in the region of €18-20 million.

Amiri has also been linked with Borussia Dortmund in recent weeks, but Sky claims that a move to the Signal Iduna Park is no longer seen as a realistic option.

The German international dodged questions about his future after Mainz's final game of the season - a 2–2 draw against his former club Bayer Leverkusen that secured Europa Conference League qualification.

“I’m going on vacation now, and then we’ll see,” Amiri said in a post-match interview. “Right now, I’m just overjoyed.”

Mainz signed Amiri from Bayer Leverkusen for just €1 million in January 2024.
