Recent reports have suggested that VfB Stuttgart are demanding a staggering €100 million to let Nick Woltemade join Bayern Munich, who he has already agreed personal terms with.

However, reports that Stuttgart are demanding such a high fee are “wide of the mark”, according to Sky Germany, who insists the Swabians have not confirmed such a demand.

The two clubs are expected to open talks over the 23-year-old Germany international soon.

“We’ll just see what’s possible and feasible, without letting ourselves get carried away,” Bayern board member for sport Max Eberl told reporters on Sunday.

“Our intention was actually to handle this calmly. That’s already gone out the window. So right now, I don’t want to set any other expectations. I think it’s been communicated very openly, and now we’ll talk and see if we can reach an agreement. How long that will take - I can’t say.”
