Turkish journalist Ertan Süzgün links center-back Felix Uduokhai with a move to Werder Bremen. The former Germany youth international has only played 15 league games for Besiktas during the 2025/26 season.
With previous links to Schalke 04 and Borussia Mönchengladbach, the Turkish club opened its doors for a transfer since he’s about to enter the last year of his contract with Besiktas. The 28-year-old joined his current club from Augsburg for a €5 million transfer fee after an initial loan deal.
Uduokhai played 150 Bundesliga games in total for Wolfsburg and Augsburg. He represented Germany in different age groups, including the Olympic team. He also received a call from Joachim Löw for the first-team in 2020, but he didn’t end up making an appearance.
The 1.93m-tall defender currently has a €3.5 million market value by Transfermarkt. It’s still unclear whether Daniel Thioune would use a back three system for the upcoming season. Karim Coulibaly and Julian Malatini remain candidates for summer departures.
