Morocco face the Netherlands in one of the games of the Round of 32 at the 2026 World Cup. Both teams finished their respective groups with seven points, although the Atlas Lions had to settle for second place next to Brazil because of goal difference.

FC Bayern-bound Ismael Saibari and Stuttgart’s winger Bilal El Khannouss started all three group stage games, and they are also in the lineup for the first knockout stage game. The Spanish-born attacker scored against every opponent in Group C.

There are also a total of five ex-Bundesliga players from the two lineups – Morocco’s fullbacks Achraf Hakimi (Borussia Dortmund) and Noussair Mazraoui (FC Bayern) as well as Micky van de Ven (Wolfsburg), Ryan Gravenberch (Bayern) and Brian Brobbey (RB Leipzig) from the Netherlands.
