Gittens deal likely off as BVB reject Chelsea's third offer, Sky reports

Sources suggest BVB have declined a third offer from the London club.

A transfer of Jamie Gittens to Chelsea before the Club World Cup has finally collapsed, Sky Germany has reported.

Borussia Dortmund have immediately rejected the third offer for Gittens, worth €55 million which Kevin Pinnow announced.

Dortmund have clearly set out their stall for the English winger with a desired fee around €65million, reports suggest.

“An agreement before the transfer window closes at 20:00pm is now unlikely. The deal is off, as Dortmund confirmed to us,” Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg wrote on X.

The player is not expected to join Chelsea before the trip to the USA, but negotiations could resume after the Club World Cup is completed.
