Report: Arsenal "pushing" to sign Sesko, Man United and Chelsea also among suitors

Arsenal are reportedly "pushing" to sign Benjamin Sesko, with Manchester United and Chelsea also linked with the RB Leipzig striker.

RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko has reportedly attracted the attention of a number of English Premier League clubs.

According to Sky Germany, Arsenal are "pushing" to sign the 21-year-old Slovenian international.

Meanwhile, Manchester United have inquired about Sesko, while Chelsea are keeping an eye on him, the report claims.

Sesko has a release clause worth a reported 65 million, which expires at the end of June.

In an interview with Slovenian publication Sportklub last month, Sesko's agent Elvis Bašanović discussed his client's situation.

"I can say that there is interest in Benjamin, both from the Premier League and from Italy. But out of respect, I can't talk about the names of the clubs," said Bašanović and added:

"We are talking about top clubs. But you have to realize that Benjamin is at a top club right now. Very few people realise how big a club Leipzig is. The next few weeks will certainly be eventful.

“It is my duty to listen to offers. We have to work on giving Benjamin more opportunities at the end of the season. But it's his decision. We will propose what is best for his long-term development."

Sesko scored 18 goals in 42 matches in all competitions this season.
