Kompany reportedly lost his cool at half-time against Elversberg

As TZ München understands, at the half-time of the game against Elversberg, Vincent Kompany showed his players his tough side.
The coach, usually known with his level-headed approach, vented his frustration during the break, and even struck his tactics board.
The reason for his anger in Elversberg was his team’s performance, despite the fact that they had gone 1-0 ahead just before the break.
Among other things, Kompany was unhappy with Josip Stanišić and made that clear to him. Dayot Upamecano was also addressed.
Even goalscorer Lennart Karl wasn't spared Kompany's criticism – he didn't like Karl's celebration, shushing the crowd in Elversberg.
Following the narrow 2-1 win over the newly promoted Saarland club, Karl apologized after the game for his celebration.
What seemingly annoyed Kompany was that his players lacked the basics and didn't show commitment in the first half.
As a result, the German record champions' head coach uncharacteristically let his anger show and made his point forcefully.
