Bayern Munich have added Benfica Lisbon talent Daniel Banjaqui to their shortlist for the summer, according to Sky Germany.

The right-back is under contract at the Portuguese side until 2027, but the Bavarians are said to be keeping tabs on him.

With Bayern eager to sign a new right-back, the 17-year-old and his management have been informed of the Bundesliga side's interest.

Banjaqui has largely featured in the second division of Portugal and the UEFA Youth League this season, racking up 1,478 minutes.

However, Feyenoord talent Givairo Read remains the German record champions' priority target, but no agreements made so far.

One concern for Bayern regarding Read is their doubts over his injury record. A hamstring injury has made him miss over 17 games this season.
