Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu has reported that the transfer of Alexander Nübel to Beşiktaş is nearing closer to completion.

It's believed an agreement between the Munich club and Beşiktaş regarding the fee for the German international goalkeeper.

Accordingly, €5million will be transferred immediately to Säbener Straße, with a further €5million possible in additional payments.

Nübel himself has also agreed to the deal with the Turkish Süper Lig side and is guaranteed the role of first-choice goalkeeper.

Bayern had hoped for compensation of up to €20million for the goalkeeper, who was on loan to VfB Stuttgart for the past three years.

Now, however, the club will at least save on the high salary of the Paderborn native if they manage to get him off their books.

Update (18:15 CET): Sky Germany believes the deal will be €6.5million with €5million in bonuses and a contract until 2029.
