FC Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund have reportedly reached an agreement on the transfer of Karim Adeyemi this evening.

Well-informed transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano has suggested that the La Liga outfit and BVB have agreed on the transfer fee.

The Catalans will reportedly pay a base fee of €22million, with a further €9million linked to performance-related bonuses.

Those aforementioned bonuses will likely orientate around titles won and appearances made at the reigning Spanish champions.

The speedy attacker's contract with Borussia Dortmund expires in a year, and an extension was no longer on his radar.

Adeyemi is expected to sign a five-year contract at Barca. BVB signed Adeyemi from RB Salzburg four years ago for €30million.

Update (18:53 CET): Sky Germany reports that Adeyemi will earn €6million per year and Dortmund have secured a 35% sell-on clause.
