According to a report by Tuttosport, two of Italian football's biggest clubs are keeping tabs on Bayer Leverkusen's Ernest Poku.

Both SSC Napoli – whose interest has been strong for a while – and now Juventus Turin have both sent scouts to watch him.

During the first-leg of the Champions League playoffs between Leverkusen and Olympiacos, a Juventus scout was reportedly in the stands.

With their eyes firmly fixed on the 22-year-old, despite not scoring, the Netherlands winger put in an impressive shift in Piraeus.

However, it's worth noting that the Rhineland club only signed Poku from AZ Alkmaar for a reported €12million fee last summer.

With 5 goals and 4 assists in 20 Bundesliga games so far, it's clear he's an important part of Kasper Hjulmand's side.

Poku's contract runs with Leverkusen until June of 2030, therefore Leverkusen have the upper hand if negotiations do take place.
