Earlier this month, Niclas Füllkrug's agent, Thorsten Wirth, admitted that a move away from West Ham United is likely to be on the cards for his client.

According to Sky Germany, the 32-year-old German international wants to leave West Ham during the winter transfer window, with the London club prepared to let him go.

A return to the Bundesliga is a possibility, with both Wolfsburg and Augsburg said to be interested in the former Borussia Dortmund forward.

Augsburg could have an advantage as they are coached by former Germany assistant Sandro Wagner, who Füllkrug knows from the national team.

The German clubs are not the only ones showing interest, though, with Sky reporting that Füllkrug has also attracted interest from Italy, including from AC Milan.
