Confirmed lineups: Bayern Munich vs. Chelsea

The UEFA Champions League is back! Another year in which Bayern Munich is trying to become Kings of Europe once again has started - they will kick of their 2025/26 campaign against old rival Chelsea. Here are the confirmed lineups for this matchup.

Time to roll back the years! Bayern vs. Chelsea is always going to be remembered for the iconic and heartbreaking 2011/12 „Finale Dahoam“ - a match which defined Bayern‘s history over the following decade.

Chelsea‘s captain Reece James also remembered the matchup in the 2019/20 season, when Bayern got past Chelsea with ease on their way to their last Champions League victory to this date.

But what will happen this time around? Vincent Kompany‘s side have been in superb form so far, winning every game of the season quite convincingly most times. Chelsea on the other hand, the reigning FIFA Club World Cup Champions, are also yet to lose a game in 2025/26.

Could Bayern‘s Nicolas Jackson, on loan from Chelsea, play the deciding factor in this game? Who will come out on top tonight in the Allianz Arena?

With just about one hour to go until kickoff, here are the confirmed lineups for both teams:
