Borussia Dortmund are increasing their efforts to re-sign Carney Chukwuemeka from Chelsea, reports suggest.

According to Talksport, BVB made Chelsea a concrete offer of a loan with an obligation to buy for around €17.5 million, which was rejected.

Meanwhile, Sky Germany reports that the Club World Cup winners would agree to such a model for a sum of €20 to €22million.

Chukwuemeka already spent the second half of last season on loan at BVB and would like to return to the Westphalians.

Sky is also aware that the Bundesliga club is even willing to include a substantial resale fee for Chelsea to secure the midfielder.

Given the small discrepancy in the transfer fee, a timely agreement is not unlikely, however a big Serie A side is also interested.

Corriere dello Sport reports that Juventus also has the 21-year-old on its radar, but whether they want a loan or purchase is unsure.
