Turkish journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu recently claimed that Eintracht Frankfurt and Fenerbahce had agreed terms for the transfer of Tuta.

However, Eintracht board member for sport Markus Krösche has now denied any knowledge of the reported talks.

"I am not dealing with that at all," Krösche told Hessenschau after Eintracht Frankfurt's 4-1 win over Freiburg on Tuesday.

“There is nothing I can say,” he continued.

Tuta told Bild in November that he had opened talks with Eintracht about the possibility of extending his contract beyond 2026.

"I love this club and I feel incredibly comfortable here. But of course I still have big goals in my career," the Brazilian centre-back said at the time.

“I have to see what's best for me and my family. I've been here in Frankfurt for five years now and I'll see what's best for me. Of course, my goal is always to play internationally. I want to continue playing in one of the top five leagues.”
