Fresh ankle injury forces Schlotterbeck out of Serbia and Greece tests

Germany's national team will be without Nico Schlotterbeck for their upcoming Nations League matches against Serbia and in Greece.
As BILD understands, the center-back is leaving the team's training camp in Herzogenaurach early after injuring his right ankle.
The untimely blow was sustained in today's final training session, while Sky Germany is reporting it as a lateral ligament injury.
The players had to dribble around poles in four different groups. Schlotterbeck lost control of the ball and veered into another group.
Surgery will not be necessary BILD claims, but Schlotterbeck could now also be absent for Borussia Dortmund too.
His chances of playing against Werder Bremen on Friday, 9 October, are unknown – treatment will be conducted at BVB for the time being.
It comes as a blow for the 26-year-old who reportedly had a good chance of captaining Germany in Joshua Kimmich's absence.
