Okan Buruk confirmed to Sky Sports that Galatasaray are interested in signing Eintracht Frankfurt’s attacking midfielder Can Uzun this summer. The 20-year-old represented Turkiye at the World Cup.

"I believe it's obvious that he's a very interesting player. He’s also a Turkish player,” the Galatasaray coach openly talked about the player who has a contract until 2029 with Eintracht Frankfurt.

“Should the conditions for all sides arise that we could reach an agreement, then we can imagine the transfer very well. But it has to make sense and happen with mutual respect.” added Bulut in an interview with Sky.

The Regensburg-born attacker scored 12 Bundesliga goals for Frankfurt since joining them from Nürnberg alongside Nathaniel Brown, who completed his summer move to FC Bayern last month.

Eintracht Frankfurt are reportedly asking for €60 million, while Galatasaray are preparing a €40 million bid, per Fussballdaten. Italian clubs Roma, Napoli and AC Milan also showed interest in a summer move for the eight-time Turkish international.
