Turkish Süper Lig giants Galatasaray have made contact with Julian Brandt's agents, according to sources at Sky Germany.

Galatasaray – recently crowned Turkish champions – are said to be very keen to bring the attacking midfielder to their ranks.

There have also been inquiries from Major League Soccer, and a possible move to Japan has also been discussed.

However, out-of-contract Borussia Dortmund player would prefer to move to a club that competes in the Champions League.

According to the report from the pay-TV channel, Spain's La Liga remains the preferred destination for the Bremen native.

In recent weeks, Brandt has been loosely linked with Atlético Madrid as well as cash-strapped Spanish champions FC Barcelona.

However, a potential move to either of the two top clubs has not yet materialized, while talks with RCD Mallorca also fell through.
