Bayern Munich remain determined to extend Harry Kane’s contract beyond 2027.

According to Sky Germany, the German double winners have already held initial talks with Kane and his representatives over a potential extension until 2029.

For now, Kane is fully focused on captaining England at the World Cup, with concrete negotiations set to follow after the tournament.

Coming off a remarkable season in which he scored 61 goals in 51 games for Bayern, Kane is open to staying, but will not make a final decision on his future until after the World Cup.

Kane is one of Bayern’s top earners, with a salary that can reach up to €25 million gross per year.

Bayern paid €95 million to sign the 32-year-old from Tottenham Hotspur in August 2023.
