VfL Wolfsburg's first-choice goalkeeper Kamil Grabara is expected to be sidelined for a while.

Die Wölfe announced on Monday that Grabara is "out for the time being" after suffering a muscular injury to his right thigh in Sunday's 1-1 draw with Eintracht Frankfurt.

According to AZ/WAZ, an MRI scan carried out in the afternoon shed more light on the injury and showed that the 26-year-old has been "hit quite hard".

What exactly this means in terms of his recovery time is unclear, but it seems unlikely that the 26-year-old will return any time soon.

Marius Müller, who came on as a substitute against Frankfurt, will continue to deputize until further notice.
