Hummels spotted at airport ahead of move to new club

Mats Hummels has been spotted at the airport in Rome ahead of his move to AS Roma on a free transfer.

 

After months of searching for the right fit, Mats Hummels appears to have finally found his new club.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Hummels has received an improved offer from AS Roma, who have already booked his medical.

Italian journalist Filippo Biafora has since posted a photo of the former Borussia Dortmund defender arriving at Rome airport.

 

According to reports, Hummels have previously turned down offers from Bologna and Real Sociedad, among others.

The 35-year-old centre-back and former German international left Borussia Dortmund when his contract expired at the end of last season.
