Sky and French media report Bayern confirmed to Nicolas Jackson and his entourage that there will be no hopes of completing a transfer on a deadline day. As a result, the striker is heading back to his club, Chelsea.
A few minutes earlier, Jackson was under the impression of staying in Munich in hopes of a new development. However, Chelsea are only accepting a permanent transfer after the news came that Liam Delap will be on the sidelines for months.
Bayern’s search for a new attacker continues with Ademola Lookman currently at the top of their list. Max Eberl and co. still have 24 hours left to bolster the club’s attacking line, per Vincent Kompany’s wish.
