Sacha Boey is out of Vincent Kompany’s plans for the second of the season as FC Bayern Munich are exploring the market for interested clubs. According to Sky, Bayern are hoping to close a loan deal that will have an obligation to buy in the summer.

"With Hiroki (Itō) and Phonzy (Davies) back (from long injuries), we have a lot of full-backs with very high quality,” said Max Eberl today in Salzburg. “Things could be difficult for some. As such, it would probably make sense to think about a change. It's still January 6th, and there's still time before the end of the transfer window.”

Eberl’s suggestion was clearly aimed at the Frenchman as it was an answer regarding Boey’s future. Boey last played at the start of November when Vincent Kompany's rotated side beat Bayer Leverkusen 3-0.

He has missed the last three games of the Hinrunde due to illness, and the same reason was given for his absence from Bayern’s matchday squad today in Salzburg. The Rekordmeister will continue their league action on Sunday at home against VfL Wolfsburg.
