Florian Kohfeldt: "It wasn't good enough"

Wolfsburg weren't good enough against Sevilla, admits Florian Kohfeldt.
Wolfsburg coach Florian Kohfeldt was disappointed with his team's performance in Tuesday's 2-0 defeat against Sevilla in the Champions League.

"We have to be honest and admit that it wasn't good enough," Kohfeldt admitted in an interview with Amazon Prime after the final whistle.

"Of course we're playing against a good team, in the Champions League, but we should have been much better today and, if we were, there'd have been something in it for us tonight. We have to accept responsibility."

Wolfsburg midfielder Maximilian Arnold echoed the words of his coach.

"We did nothing in the right way – nothing. We didn't play good with the ball or without the ball," he said.
