Since Willi Orban's performance continues to be strong, an extension beyond 2027 at RB Leipzig is not out of the question.

If Orban is fit, he is a guaranteed starter. Leipzig highly values the 33-year-old both as a person and as a player also, reports Sky Germany.

From the club's perspective, an extension would be under new conditions [salary model & existing contract] and with a slightly adjusted role.

Furthermore, a job within the Saxony-based club after his playing career is a possibility for the veteran Hungarian defender.

Sky notes that there is no rush for an extension, and no advanced talks about a new contract have taken shape yet.

However, if Orban wants to stay, the club is not only counting on him for the upcoming season but is also open to further discussions.

The player and his representatives are completely relaxed about the current situation and are confident a deal can be reached.
