Report: Austrian winger Yusuf Demir plans to maneuver for Bundesliga transfer

Perhaps the name cropping up most frequently in all the German footballing rumor mills this weekend is that of Austrian winger Yusuf Demir.

The 18-year-old Austrian, valued as high as €12 million in the latest transfermarkt listings, is currently playing on loan at FC Barcelona from parent club SK Rapid Wien.

Spain's Catalan daily tabloid "Sport" now reports that the youngster is about to terminate his loan arrangement with the Azulgrana on Monday and return to Vienna, perhaps in order to transfer to the Bundesliga.
Talented winger Yusuf Demir apparently fits the January transfer needs of no fewer than four top Bundesliga clubs. Bayer 04 Leverkusen, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, and Eintracht Frankfurt have all been linked with the Austrian international by rumor mill aggregator transfermarkt.de.

The teenager registered six league goals last year in the Austrian Bundesliga and was loaned out to FC Barcelona for a €500,000 loan fee this year. After six appearances for the Culés, sport.es reports that financially strapped Barça do not wish to risk triggering a purchase clause. Demir also doesn't wish to miss out on a chance to move to the Bundesliga.

It is such that the current loan arrangement will be torn up prematurely by mutual consent. The report in the Spanish daily says that this move is expected to come on Monday and the youngster will return to his parent club by the end of the day.

There, the article further claims, he will not stay for very long. The four Bundesliga clubs currently vying for his services will all look to organize a transfer from the other Bundesliga.
