Report: Contract talks between Gnabry and Bayern continue to stall

Sport Bild reports that Bayern München's contract talks with Serge Gnabry continue to stall.

Back in September, it was reported that Bayern München were in advanced talks to extend Serge Gnabry's contract, but their negotiations since hit a snag.

According to Sport Bild, negotiations between the parties continue to stall, with money being the biggest sticking point.

Leroy Sané and Kingsley Coman both earn around €20 million per season, and Gnabry is demanding a fee in the same region. However, so far, Bayern haven't been willing to grant him his wish.

If Bayern don't move closer to Gnabry in the negotiations, reaching an agreement could be "difficult", according to Sport Bild journalist Christian Falk. He still expects the 26-year-old to sign an extension, though.

Gnabry's current deal expires in 2023.
