Yann Sommer: "It's definitely a point won for us"

Yann Sommer has shared his thoughts on Gladbach's 2-2 draw with Wolfsburg.
Borussia Mönchengladbach recovered from a two-goal deficit to draw 2-2 with Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga on Saturday.

In a post-match interview, Gladbach goalkeeper Yann Sommer admitted that it was a point won rather than two lost for 'Die Fohlen'.

"It's definitely a point won for us, in my opinion. Both teams attacked often in the first half, although we were a bit too lax in defence," said Sommer.

"We gave it everything in the second half, although the red card certainly played into our hands as well. We showed great spirit, lots of energy and deserved the equaliser. It’s too bad that it wasn’t enough for a win in the end."
