'Die Roten Bullen' dominated possession and chances, but ultimately had to settle for a draw.
"We're a bit disappointed given the amount of chances we had but didn't take. I don't have anything to say to the team in particular though: taking chances is something we don't normally have a problem with," Tedesco told reporters.
"We scored six goals against Fürth last week. I would have preferred them to be split up - three goals today and three last week. Eintracht have a really good 'keeper in the form of Kevin Trapp, though."
Leipzig right-back Benjamin Henrichs echoed the words of his coach.
"At the end of the day, we have to blame ourselves for not taking our chances, and we really created some huge ones today. We played well in the game, so the result isn't satisfying - it's tough to take," he said.
