Stark expected to leave Hertha on a free transfer

Clubs from Germany, England and Southern Europe are said to be monitoring the situation of Hertha defender Niklas Stark, who will be available on a free transfer this summer.
Niklas Stark is set to leave Hertha BSC on a free transfer at the end of the season, according to reports.

Sport Bild and Kicker report that the 26-year-old's expiring contract will not be extended.

Stark has attracted interest from the Bundesliga, per Kicker, who doesn't mention the names of the clubs.

In addition, clubs from England and southern Europe are said to be keeping tabs on the centre-back.

He has previously been linked with the likes of West Ham, Wolverhampton and Borussia Dortmund.
