Borussia Mönchengladbach have been boosted by the returns of Jonas Hofmann and Marcus Thuram ahead of Saturday's Bundesliga game against Greuther Fürth.

Thuram has shaken off the adductor problem that kept him out of Gladbach's 1-1 draw with Mainz last Sunday. Hofmann, who has missed three games in a row, has fought his way back from a muscle injury.

"They were both able to fully take part in the session and everything went well," said Gladbach coach Adi Hütter in an official statement.

"This is very pleasing for us and it gives us more options for Saturday."

Hütter also provided updates on Luca Netz, Ramy Bensebaini, Tony Jantschke and Marvin Friedrich.

"We hope that we can get Luca back as soon as possible. Ramy picked up a knock in the game against Mainz but there shouldn’t be any problems for him this weekend.

"Tony's CT value is still too low, and Marvin is on the road to recovery, but it may take a little while."
