Manchester United have submitted a proposal to sign Europa League hero Kevin Trapp, according to Bild. The 32-year-old is under contract in Germany until 2024 and it's unclear whether Frankfurt would even consider this offer.

Erik ten Hag's side have also shown interest in Gladbach's Yann Sommer. United want an experienced no. 2 to challenge David de Gea, who's struggled to start the season. Dean Henderson is on loan at Nottingham Forest for the year.
