Fantasy Bundesliga tips: 10 players to consider for Matchday 14
Here are 10 players you should consider bringing into your Fantasy Bundesliga team for Matchday 14.
Mitchel Bakker. |
Instead, we will highlight players with a maximum ownership percentage of 15%, who could offer great value as differentials for Matchday 14.
Aaron Martin, Mainz (Defender, 8.5M, 6%)
Mainz are in poor form, having lost their last two games against Bayern and Wolfsburg with a goal difference of -7. Nevertheless, 'Die Nullfünfer' are a team to target for the mid-week round, as they face a Schalke 04 side with even bigger problems. With 84 points to his name this season, Aaron has been the second-best performing Mainz player, only behind Karim Onisiwo (92 points). He has had some really productive games (22 points on Matchday 5, 14 points on both Matchday 8 and 11), and the upcoming match against Schalke looks like the perfect opportunity for the Spaniard to hit double figures again.
Mitchel Bakker, Bayer Leverkusen (Defender, 9.4M, 0%)
Last Sunday, Bayer Leverkusen put an end to a six-game winless streak in all competitions with a convincing 5-0 victory over Union Berlin on home soil. Owned by 0 percent of Fantasy Bundesliga managers, Mitchel Bakker played a key role in the win, chipping in with a goal and an assist from the left wing-back position. He and Leverkusen will surely be determined to build on that performance against local rivals Köln on Wednesday in one of just two stand-alone fixtures this matchday.
Noussair Mazraoui, Bayern (Defender, 10.7M, 2%)
With Bayern suffering from a few injuries in defence, Mazraoui looks set to keep his starting spot on the right side of defence. The former Ajax defender offers a relatively cheap way into Bayern's backline, and his ownership is low too.
Raphael Guerreiro, Dortmund (Defender, 12.4M, 5%)
Guerreiro made his comeback from injury against Bochum and didn't have his best game, picking up just 6 points, with 3 of them being awarded because Dortmund kept a clean sheet. But with the ceiling he has, the Portuguese left-back is always an interesting option, and the fact that he's playing the opening game – one of just two stand-alone fixtures in mid-week – increases his value.
Nadiem Amiri, Leverkusen (Midfielder, 7.8M, 0%)
Amiri has emerged as a starter for Leverkusen recently and produced his best performance of the season so far in Sunday's 5-0 win over Union, providing an assist and scoring 10 points. The German midfielder was used in an attacking midfield role in that game and should play there once more against local rivals FC Köln.
Dominik Szoboszlai, RB Leipzig (Midfielder, 13.8M, 9%)
Szoboszlai is one of the league's most in-form players, having scored double figures four games in a row.
Jonas Hofmann, Gladbach (Midfielder, 15.4M, 10%)
After a spell on the sidelines, Jonas Hofmann returned for Gladbach against Stuttgart on Friday, and he made an impact right away, scoring the opener after four minutes to help his side to a 3-1 victory. With Gladbach taking on relegation-threatened Bochum this time, Hofmann is difficult to overlook.
Marcus Ingvartsen, Mainz (Striker, 4.6M, 0%)
The Danish striker is Mainz's joint leading goalscorer this season with 4 goals to his name so far. Mainz's favorable match-up against Schalke 04 combined with Ingvartsen's low price and ownership make him a great differential option this time out.
Youssoufa Moukoko, Dortmund (Striker, 10.1M, 7%)
Coming off a brace against Bochum, Moukoko will be fired up to continue in the same vein to put himself in as good a position as possible for Hansi Flick's World Cup squad, which will be announced on Thursday.
Randal Kolo Muani, Frankfurt (Striker, 12.1M, 7%)
Kolo Muani has scored 44 points in his last four games and will be playing at home against a Hoffenheim side, who have kept just one clean sheet in their last seven competitive games.
