Bundesliga 2023/2024 fixtures released: Werder and Bayern meet in season opener

Werder Bremen and Bayern Munich will lock horns in the opening game of the 2023/24 Bundesliga season, as revealed in the newly revealed fixture list for the upcoming campaign.
The full list of fixtures for the 2023/24 Bundesliga season has been revealed, with Werder Bremen and Bayern Munich set to kick off the new season at the Weserstadion on Friday, August 18 at 20:30 CET.

The German Football League (DFL) was supposed to announce the fixtures for the 2023/24 Bundesliga season at 12 CET today.

However, due to a data glitch, the official schedule is already available online.

Defending champions Bayern Munich and vice-champions Borussia Dortmund will play the first of two league meetings in the upcoming season at Signal Iduna Park over the weekend of November 3-5.

The winter break will be between December 20, 2023 (matchday 16) and January 12, 2024 (matchday 17).
