Fantasy Bundesliga: 10 players to consider for Matchday 3

Here are 10 players you should consider bringing into your Fantasy Bundesliga team for Matchday 3.
In this Fantasy Bundesliga article, we will not be focusing on the most obvious picks such as Jeremie Frimpong and Harry Kane.

Instead, we will highlight players with a maximum ownership percentage of 20%, who could offer great value as differentials for Matchday 3.

Moritz Nicolas, Gladbach (Goalkeeper, 1M, 0%)
With Gladbach first-choice goalkeeper Jonas Omlin reportedly set to be sidelined for months after shoulder surgery, Moritz Nicolas is in line to be his deputy. At just 1 million, he's by far the cheapest starter in goal.

Philipp Mwene, Mainz (Defender, 6.2M, 0%)
Back in Mainz after two seasons at PSV, Mwene started as a wing-back against Eintracht Frankfurt last week and put in an impressive performance, picking up nine points. The 29-year-old looks like one of the better budget options in defense over the coming weeks, with Mainz having a manageable schedule on the horizon.

Alejandro Grimaldo, Leverkusen (Defender, 10.1M, 6%)
After a rather disappointing first matchday, Grimaldo set up a goal and scored 14 points against Gladbach last week. With Leverkusen, one of the most in-form teams in the league, at home to struggling Darmstadt, Grimaldo could be worth picking up, either alongside Jeremie Frimpong or as a cheaper alternative to his more popular teammate.

Ruben Vargas, Augsburg (Midfielder, 7.4M, 3%)
After scoring in Augsburg's opener against Gladbach, Vargas had a quiet game against Bayern, but he has a much better fixture this week, as Die Függerstädter play at home to a Bochum side who lost 5-0 to Stuttgart in their first away league game of the season.

Felix Nmecha, Borussia Dortmund (Midfielder, 10.1M, 5%)
If Nmecha shakes off a knock to start against Heidenheim on Friday night, he could be a great differential to have.

Leon Goretzka, Bayern (Midfielder, 11.1M, 6%)
On sale this week, Goretzka offers a fairly cheap route into the Bayern midfield. The Germany international has scored an acceptable 15 points so far this season and has an attractive game coming up with Bayern taking on a Gladbach side that were torn apart by Leverkusen last week.

Jonas Hofmann, Leverkusen (Midfielder, 15.7M, 14%)
After proving himself as a top Fantasy asset at Gladbach in the past, Hofmann has made a strong start to life at Leverkusen, scoring 12 and 16 points respectively in his first two games. With Leverkusen welcoming Darmstadt to the BayArena, he should have a good chance of scoring double digits once more.

Sven Michel, Augsburg (Striker, 5.3M, 1%)
Michel scored from the penalty spot in Augsburg's opener against Gladbach and now has an attractive home game against Bochum coming up.

Victor Boniface, Leverkusen (Striker, 12.6M, 12%)
The Nigerian striker has made an immediate impact since joining from Union Saint-Gilloise. Most recently, he scored a brace against Gladbach in a game in which he took 11 shots.

Donyell Malen, Dortmund (Striker, 14.4M, 11%)
Has scored a goal in each of Dortmund's two Bundesliga games this season and has a favorable matchup at home against Heidenheim.
