Report: Germany players critical of Nagelsmann

Bild reports that a number of Germany players are increasingly asking questions about Julian Nagelsmann.
Just a few months into his tenure as Germany coach, Julian Nagelsmann is already feeling the pressure after back-to-back defeats to Turkey and Austria in the recent international break.

And apparently, the criticism is coming not only from the outside, but from within the team as well.

According to Bild, some players see Nagelsmann more as a "club coach" who wants to impose his ideas on a team through meticulous work on the training pitch. The problem is that there isn't enough time for that with a national team.

"Some national team players are of the opinion that the national team coach absolutely has to reduce his ideas, training content and ideas," the report claims.

Since taking over, Nagelsmann has changed the system to a 4-2-2-2, and his use of Kai Havertz as a left-back in particular has caused eyebrows to be raised.
